Sidu (सिड्डू)

Sidu is a famous traditional bread of Pahari Bushahri .

 

  • Made from wheat flour
  • Dough is fermented (often overnight)
  • Stuffed with walnut paste, poppy seeds, or spices
  • Cooked by steaming (not fried)
  • Soft inside and slightly firm outside

How it is eaten:

  • Served hot with Gee (desi ghee)
  • Sometimes eaten with dal, chutney, or meat curry
