Local Instruments

Bushahri has a rich musical heritage expressed through its traditional folk instruments. Popular local instruments include the Nagara and Dhol, used during festivals and rituals; the Karnal and Ransingha, long curved brass instruments played in temples and ceremonies; and the Shehnai, used in celebrations. These instruments reflect the state’s cultural diversity and are an important part of local dances, religious events, and community life.
